on additional resources available to Kansas companies.
Resources included are for SBIR programs, inventors,
small businesses, and entrepreneurs.
SBIR Resources
Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) is
a federal government program administered by 10 federal
agencies to provide early-stage research and development
funding to small technology companies (or individual
entrepreneurs who form a company). Solicitations for
research and development within specific topics are
released periodically by each of the agencies. Companies
are invited to compete for funding by submitting proposals
answering the technical topic needs of the agency's
solicitation.
