Centers of Excellence
Recognizing the value of technology discoveries occurring at the state’s universities and the potential economic impact for Kansas, KTEC developed Centers of Excellence to support university research in developing products that can reach the marketplace, creating jobs and generating wealth. Additionally, KTEC serves as the authorized source of matching funds for EPSCOR, a federal grant program that supports university research. |

Entrepreneurial Centers
The Entrepreneurial Centers are unique, public-private partnerships designed to assist emerging companies and transfer new technologies to the marketplace. KTEC's goal is to accelerate the success of small companies so they can make positive contributions to the state economy through increased sales, new jobs and wealth creation. |

PIPELINE
The PIPELINE is the nation’s premier state-sponsored technology entrepreneur fellowship program. PIPELINE is designed to systematically identify high potential technology entrepreneurs and match them with best-in-class training, resources and mentors to facilitate their dynamic growth in Kansas. |

SITAKS
A state-wide trade association for technology, SITAKS was founded by KTEC in 2008 and is designed to support Kansas’ 3,200 software, information technology and telecommunications companies. SITAKS strengthens and expands the technology sector through advocacy, management level education and networking. Members include: Software and IT companies, companies with large information technology departments and colleges and universities. |

MAMTC
The Mid-America Manufacturing Technology Center helps small and medium-sized manufacturers improve their competitiveness by assisting them in modernizing operations and adopting appropriate technologies, as well as management, marketing and business practices. MAMTC supports eight core areas: quality, manufacturing processes, business systems, marketing, information systems, human resources, product development and testing, and company assessment. MAMTC receives partial funding from the federal government and has locations across Kansas. |
